Meet Lauren -

Your coach for the next 10 weeks. a certified nutrition and fitness coach, helping busy moms reach results through sustainable, science-backed methods.  As a singe mom with a demanding career, I let my health come last for many years. After having my two sons, I tried all the quick fixes to lose weight and eliminate lower back and knee pain. Finally, I learned that it’s not that complicated, and there are no magic pills or methods. Through the basics of nutrition, weight lifting, sleep, general activity and stress management, I’ve lost over 75 lbs. But most importantly, I’m living an active lifestyle while enjoying time and keeping up with my kids! Now I get to help other moms develop the habits to get strong and lean while thriving at work and home.

I see my working with Lauren as a true investment - in me! I haven't always been great about self care. There always seemed to be other obligations that were winning out. I'm down close to 10lbs, and have lost about 11.5 inches - 4.5" from my waist in 10 weeks. Pants are definitely loser these days. I'm also really proud of sticking with it! I am so proud of so many things related to this program! I think the biggest is just actually sticking to something and making these changes part of my lifestyle. I’ve had a ton of fits and starts around my nutrition and exercise and never found something that sticks. And this really has! I can feel how strong I have gotten and see the changes in my body. Over my time with Lauren, my meals shifted to include more protein and fiber, and I have rarely gone hungry. I have overcome a lot of my food fears (dairy, gluten, sugar, fat, carbs, etc) and allowed all foods to fit into my plan each day. All the while I have dropped fat and gained muscle, increased strength, and kept high energy levels. I am feeling strong and lean! I went shopping and had to buy new jeans in a smaller size. I continue to see changes in my physique that I have been dreaming of for a long time. Also, I can do 1-2 pullups at a time. This was one of my goals I set out to achieve when I first met with Lauren.

When I started the program I was not stuck at a weight where I was unhappy, I was actively GAINING weight while still recovering from an injury, my clothes squeezing and suffocating me all day to the point where I was only reaching for post partum flowy tops and dresses to minimize actual discomfort existing in my own body. Notably, I have lost more than 13 pounds and 4.5 inches off my waist, >12.5 inches overall. I just feel so much better, relieved, comfortable and more confident in my ability to keep up the habits and mentality we worked on together.
